I started writing this post yesterday, but I felt that we needed to have a better understanding of how the attack on religion started.  So, i wanted to discuss how media has been changing our cultural view of religion.

While, I do think that this has been orchestrated, I don’t believe that the people who have been causing this to happen had the destruction of religious freedom as their primary goal.  I am even so optimistic as to believe that those involved today are naive to the Devil’s plan.

Our first amendment rights is under attack.  And the attack first started with medias corruption of our culture.  Then it turned to political correctness, but getting us to voluntarily alter our speech and adopting the new value system.

The next (and perhaps last) battle is being fought over religion. We have seen it a lot in big media cases. It may be a story about a Christian baker who doesn’t want to put words promoting the marriage of two same sex individuals on a cake. Or it may be about a photographer who doesn’t want record the events of a same-gender couple marriage.

But that is only the start.  Children are now being denied the right to wear a cross or a t-shirt declaring their faith in school. Because it might offend someone.  It is political correctness at its peak.

Fortunately, many churches are stepping up and preparing for the battle. They are preparing, because they know that the next battle will be in their chapels, at their pulpits, and in there Sunday Schools.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints just published a website to help their faithful in the battle. We cannot sit back and watch any more.  We cannot let media rule or culture any more.  We must take charge of our homes, our churches, and our children.  We must prepare them, because the next battle is in our synagogues, temples, and mosques.

This isn’t a Mormon problem. It isn’t a Christian problem. It is a problem for all religious organizations.  They are coming, we need to prepare.  As I have stated part of the reason I am taking up the pen again, is to open a forum to discuss what we need to be doing to fight this battle.

I hope you will join me. Please review this website, like I have been doing, and will continue to do.  Please arm yourself for the battle that is to come.  We must prepare because the fight has already begun, and we are behind.

So, What do you think?
